Our clinic utilizes both traditional and bio-mechanical acupuncture
approaches in order to help alleviate your musculoskeletal complaints. Traditional
acupuncture uses the insertion of fine needles along meridians (natural
channels in the body) to stimulate the balance and flow of Qi energy and Blood.
This balance is considered essential for good health and the cause of illness
in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Bio-mechanical approaches used in our office
include intra-muscular stimulation(IMS) or dry needling, is the direct application of
acupuncture to release trigger points and spasms in the muscles. IMS can often
help accelerate recovery from numerous musculoskeletal conditions. Please call
and see if acupuncture or IMS is right for you
